Guangdong charts to promote coordinated growth between the manufacturing and service industries

The 2026 Guangdong Provincial High-Quality Development Conference opened on February 24, the first work day after the Chinese New Year holiday, with coordinated development between the manufacturing and service industries at the center of its agenda.

At the conference, Huang Kunming, Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, outlined four key measures in his speech to advance manufacturing–service integration, focusing on strengthening the industrial system, activating business entities, deepening technological innovation, and fostering a world-class business environment.
