Han Wensheng, President of China Southern Air Holding Company Limited, signed the memorandum with Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive.
Han said, "In April, China Southern Airlines opened a direct route from Guangzhou to Doha, which effectively promotes connectivity between China and countries and regions under the Belt and Road Initiative. In the future, China Southern Airlines will deepen cooperation with Qatar Airways, strengthen complementary advantages, and work together to bring our passengers a more comfortable and convenient travel experience."
Akbar Al Baker commented that the launch of the Doha-Guangzhou route in April is an important part of the close partnership. He added that it is a proud milestone for Qatar Airways to join forces with their counterpart to connect to the Chinese market.
