SZ firms bring cutting-edge products to MWC

Prominent Shenzhen enterprises, including Huawei, HONOR, ZTE, and Transsion, are presenting a wide array of cutting-edge technologies and products at the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.

The ongoing four-day MWC, which will end tomorrow, has attracted over 300 Chinese tech companies to participate in the gathering.

The global development of 5G has been remarkable, with more than 300 commercial business networks and over 1.6 billion users as of the end of 2023. The growth rate of global 5G users is seven times faster than that of 4G during the same period, making 5G a major contributor to mobile traffic and business revenues.

Highlighting their offerings at the congress, Huawei announced that 2024 marks the beginning of 5G-A commercial usage, which integrates cloud and AI technologies with significant potential for commercial growth for operators. They also showcased a comprehensive range of 5G products, including 5G-A, F5G-1, and Net 5.5G solutions, with Huawei having assisted telecom carriers around the world with 5G-A commercial verifications and examinations in multiple cities.

Various innovative AI terminal products and solutions were featured at the congress.

HONOR presented its new all-scenario strategy by introducing AI-empowered cross-OS collaboration, human-centric intent-based AI, and a suite of smart devices with global partners.

With this strategy, HONOR is transforming the user experience and introducing entirely new multimodal ways for humans to interact with their smart devices.

HONOR’s displayed products also included the Magic6 Pro and the MagicBook Pro 16.

Huawei Cloud showcased the 10 systematic innovations in AI and the industrial practical application of Pangu Models, a system of pre-trained models that can be quickly adapted to meet scenario-specific needs and address complex challenges across multiple industries. It has been used in many scenarios including Pangu vehicle models, Pangu digital human models, and Pangu research models.

ZTE presented its AI-powered all-scenario intelligent ecology 3.0 and multiple innovative products.

TECNO, a subbrand of the “King of Africa” Transsion, showcased its PHANTOM Ultimate scroll screen concept phones, quadruped bionic robots, and a range of smart phones at the congress.
