Awarded companies of Hengqin international sci-tech competition visited Macao

On January 26, representatives from award-winning companies of the third Hengqin International Scientific and Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition visited Macao to examine its business environment, industrial development, and future plans.

Company representatives visited the Hengqin Campus of the University of Macau.

Representatives visited important platforms and projects, including the Hengqin Campus of the University of Macau, Da Heng Qin International Industrial Development Center, and the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform.
"We paid an on-site visit to Hengqin on January 24. During this visit to Macao, we gained a more complete understanding of the scientific research level of local universities, the business environment, and preferential policies. We hope to develop innovative scientific projects in Hengqin and Macao and tap into the local market in the future," some of the award-winning companies said.

Company representatives visited Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform.

To promote the development of award-winning companies in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone and allow them to enjoy preferential policies, this year's competition has provided incubation services for the award-winning companies. These services aim to support their settlement, growth, investment, and financing. Additionally, the companies can benefit from tax advantages, talent subsidies, and research and development subsidies, as per the current policy of the zone.

The competition is hosted by the Executive Committee of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, organized by the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and supported by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of Macao SAR and the Science and Technological Development Fund of Macao SAR.
