Guangzhou's Nansha District has recently started the construction of 29 new projects with a total investment of about 31.6 billion yuan (5 billion US dollars), and completed 27 projects valued at 31.4 billion yuan. These projects cover various fields including urban infrastructure, industry, water conservancy, and housing construction.

The Juxing Bridge project has completed construction, which connects the two sides of the Jiaomen River and Jiaomen Island. The Nansha International Port and Shipping Center is one of the key projects starting construction. It covers an area of about 76,000 square meters and is planned to build a comprehensive business center consisting of one 149-meter high-rise office building and four apartment buildings. The total construction area is about 245,000 square meters.

The Nansha International Port and Shipping Center will provide services such as shipping dispatching and port and shipping business, which are expected to contribute to the development of shipping logistics, high-end shipping services, and international e-commerce in the district.

Minxin Hong Kong School (Guangzhou Nansha) is another key project starting construction, located in the Qingsheng Hub in Nansha. It covers an area of about 12,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 53,000 square meters and a total investment of about 500 million yuan.

This project is expected to promote educational cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, and strengthen supportive services for Hong Kong and Macao residents working in Nansha District.
