Orders of 6.3-billion-yuan looking for cooperation at the 2023 BAFTIS

The 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Fair for Trade in Services (BAFTIS) is ongoing in Zhuhai from December 6th to 8th. It is expected that over 120 companies from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany will participate in the fair.

As the focus of this fair, B2B (business-to-business) negotiations have attracted much attention from business associations and corporate representatives from various provinces and cities across China. According to staff of the Zhuhai Association of Outsourcing Service, up to now, the orders waiting for cooperation at the fair has reached 6.3 billion yuan, covering fields such as IT, telecommunications, medical health services, digital trade services, cross-border e-commerce services, and financial services.

At present, the fair has invited nearly 60 overseas buyers, including Fortune 500 companies like IBM from America, X5 from Russia, and Bureau Veritas from France, as well as other globally renowned enterprises such as Infosys from India and eBay from America. Domestic well-known enterprises such as iSoftStone, 360, Tencent Technology (Shenzhen), and KPMG Advisory (China) Limited will also attend the fair.

Themed "The Origin of Service Digitalisation, the Pilot Zone of Trade Digitalisation", the conference has set the main venue in Zhuhai with sub-venues in Hong Kong and Macao. A sub-forum on finance is hosted in Hong Kong, and a sub-forum on MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) tourism economy is held in Macao.
