China won the first gold medal of Hangzhou Asian Games in the women's lightweight double sculls at Fuyang Water Sports Centre on Sunday.
The Chinese pair of ZOU Jiaqi and QIU Xiuping finished well clear of Uzbekistan in second, while Indonesia claimed the bronze medal.
QIU Xiuping comes from the province of Guangdong.
