China (Guangdong)-Qatar Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held in Doha

On September 11, the China (Guangdong)-Qatar Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in Doha, further exploring the investment and trade opportunities between the two countries. More than 140 businesses and representatives from chambers of commerce and associations of both sides attended the event.  

Lin Keqing, Chairman of the CPPCC Guangdong Committee, expressed welcome to all sectors of Qatar to participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Area Bay and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy and chemical industry, emerging industry, finance and other fields.

During the forum, representatives from Guangzhou, Foshan and Yangjiang, as well as those from Qatar Free Zones Authority and Qatar Financial Centre, introduced their investment policies and environment. Enterprises from both sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation opportunities in financial investment, import and export trade, new energy and other fields.
