Measures issued to facilitate HK and Macao-based planning institutions and professional to practice in Hengqin

On September 4, Hengqin issued the trial measures for Macao and Hong Kong-based planning institutions and professionals to file their practice in Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

According to the Urban Planning and Construction Bureau of the zone, these measures work to facilitate those planning institutions and professionals to practice in Hengqin, deepen the exchanges of planning industry in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and serve the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The measures have 12 articles with two attachments and specify the filing management of the planning institutions and professionals from Hong Kong and Macao to practice in Hengqin.

These measures will take effect on September 17, 2023, appropriately relaxing the filing conditions and scope of practice of those planning institutions and professionals in the zone.
