The first-ever music festival in Hengqin, known as the "Hengqin Tianmu River Grassland Music Festival", was successfully held on February 18 to 19. A total of 30 groups of musicians and bands from all over China and especially the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area performed folk, rock, pop, and electronic.

Twelve local Macao bands and some musicians from Portuguese-speaking countries were invited to participate in the event.
In addition to the musical performances, the festival featured picnics for the audience and rowing on the river, "providing an experience of integration between nature and culture".
