Nobel Prize and the Wisdom of Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine

Drawing inspiration from the great ancient Chinese pharmaceutical expert Ge Hong, Professor Tu Youyou was awarded the Nobel Prize for extracting artemisinin in 2015.

It was on Guangdong's Mount Luofu that Ge Hong's discovery of artemisia annua's use against malaria was made.

Traditional Chinese medicine in a ways can be likened to a treasure vault with potential so immense that it has yet to be further explored with modern science and technology.
