Chinese air force gave stunning aerobatic performance in Zhuhai Airshow 2021

On September 28, the 13th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, commonly known as the “Zhuhai Airshow2021” or “Airshow China 2021”, kicked off in the Southern China city of Zhuhai. The exhibition will last till October 3.

Zhuhai Airshow is the largest arms show in China, and more than 700 enterprises from nearly 40 countries and regions registered to participate at this year's event. After the opening ceremony, the Chinese air force gave a stunning aerobatic performance.

Bayi Aerobatics Team (八一飞行表演队)

The Bayi Aerobatics Team is the first team to perform. The pilots took their J-10 fighter jets to perform various maneuvers.

This team is the aerobatic demonstration team of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). It was founded in 1962 and named after the date of founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), August 1, 1927.

Chengdu J-20 (歼-20)

Chengdu J-20, also known as Mighty Dragon, performed aerobatics to give the impression of air combat tactical actions.

The J-20 is a single-seat, all weather stealth fighter aircraft with precision strike capability, and it is the world's third operational fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft.

Hongdu JL-10 (教-10)

The Hongdu JL-10 made its debut at the Zhuhai Airshow this year. It is a supersonic advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft, which is of great significance for improving the technical and tactical ability of pilots.

The Red Falcon Aerobatic Team (“红鹰”飞行表演队)

The Red Falcon Aerobatic Team performed 21 aerobatics for 32 minutes, up from 17 aerobatics.

This team was established in Changchun, Jilin Province on March 26, 2011. It is the first K-8 aerobatic team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force.

AG600 (鲲龙-600)

AG600 seaplane also conducted its debut flight show at the exhibition and performed fire-suppression maneuvers. It was developed for aerial firefighting and water rescue.
