Shopping spree! Guangzhou International Shopping Festival kicks off on September 29

Guangzhou International Shopping Festival will be launched on September 29. The one-month shopping festival is to be centered in Tianhe business district, driving nearly 4,000 businesses from 25 business districts to jointly launch 100 shopping series activities.

Guangzhou was selected as one of the first international consumer center cities in China in July this year, becoming the only selected city in South China.

The Guangzhou International Shopping Festival has been held for ten consecutive years. Since 2012, bringing a feast of goods to buy from all over the world without leaving Guangzhou.

Here is a sneak peek at the highlights of the 2021 Guangzhou International Shopping Festival.

Teemall (广州天河城)

Teemall will hold the first creative exhibition of ethnic minorities in China from September 15 to October 17, in celebration of the National Day. The exhibition covers all kinds of ethnic minority elements, especially focusing on the cultural customs, architectural style, clothing and accessories of the Dong minority.

Parc Central (天环广场)

Parc Central has made the first interactive exhibition in South China with "Street Dance of China 4", and popular players of which will dance in the scene. There will also appear YSL BEAUTE station of "Boundless Space", TESLA's interactive exhibition of all models, pop-up shop of Panasonic Beauty, and Guo Jiafeng, a well-known Cantonese talk show host.

TaiKoo Hui (太古汇)

Guangzhou Taikoo Hui creates the immersive drama “The Ten Gifts” collaborating with the creators of “Sleep No More”from Shanghai, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of Taikoo Hui. The audience will immerse themselves into the story in pairs, interacting and exploring as the protagonist in the performance, to experience a spiritual journey of self-awareness and intimate exploration through different routes in the maze.

Grandview Mall (正佳广场)

Grandview Mall will launch events such as a photography exhibition of 10 years of memories through the development of Tianhe business circle, a coffee and beer music festival and art performances will be on the sky stage and large-scale sales promotions.
