Together, they will increase exchanges and cooperation, share opportunities, face challenges, and drive innovation for Greater Bay Area art organizations, groups, institutions, and most artists and art workers. In addition to the MOU, a strategic cooperation agreement on art and literature was signed between the Zhuhai Federation of Literary & Art Circles and Macao Chinese Culture Association.
Extensively promoting itself as City of Youth & Vigor, Zhuhai supports exchanges and cooperation with other GBA cities, said Tan Jing. As head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, Tan openly invited cultural workers and artists to visit Zhuhai, explore the city's all-inclusive culture, and share stories with the rest of the world.
New ways to promote the innovative development of Lingnan literature and art were advocated by Wang Xiao, vice chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Literary & Art Circles. Wang additionally called for multilayered bolstering of GBA-global civilization exchanges. Meanwhile, Zhang Yanbin of the Secretariat of China Federation of Literary & Art Circles expects solid collaboration due to the geographical proximity and shared cultural roots of Hong Kong, Macao, and the other nine GBA cities.
The heads of the federations of literary and art circles held talks with officials from the liaison offices of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong and Macao SARs. They concentrated on how to propel high-quality GBA cultural development by sharing resources and complementing each other's advantages.
The summit was organized by the Guangdong and Zhuhai federations of literary & art circles under the guidance of the China Federation of Literary & Art Circles.
